I attended insurance training in South Carolina about annuities, indexed universal life policies and specially designed insurance policies for debt elimination.
I typically stay at Hampton Inn’s when I travel just to keep it simple and familiar. I also like the fact they offer breakfast as part of the deal. That just makes sense to me. This time I stayed in a Marriot Hotel brand The Loft, because that was the hotel where the training was conducted. It was great to see my name on the tv when I turned it on. Nice little touch.
Also, I love the decoration of the room.
The downtown area of Greenville SC was fabulous and award winning. Great food and shopping.
The information I learned was invaluable as I build up my bank of information, products, services and companies to work with.
One of my Clifton Strength Finder Strengths is futurist so I can typically see and/or can create the future I want to see. Before I early retired, I could see three years out now I see five years out as clear as day.
Even though I don’t want the responsibility of another office/business building I will have one again. The gift shop was hard to run because I was working full time. This time will be different because it will be my full time not job but a collection of passions and help for people. It’s something about helping real people that is appealing to me. This new building will house a multitude of services that are needed, not just insurance. It’s a way’s out because I do like the freedom of not having to be in a building at a certain time. I also know I won’t be the only one in the building this time, there will be staff there.
No rush, all in good time, I’m just enjoying the journey and the process.
