May is Older Americans Month!
Did you know that Older Americans Month has been celebrated since 1963? Back then, only 17 million Americans had turned 65, and unfortunately, many were living in poverty with very little support. However, things were beginning to change as more people became interested in improving the lives of older Americans. In April of that year, President John F.
